Mia Hagarty is a violinist and teacher in Corpus Christi, Texas. She has been teaching the violin and viola for over 12 years and specializes in the Suzuki Method.

With over 12 years of teaching experience, and over 25 years of playing experience, Mia Hagarty has taught Suzuki violin in Iowa, Connecticut, Minnesota, Texas, and Vienna, Austria. She received her Suzuki training at Stevens Point, Wisconsin at the American Suzuki Institute with Edward Kreitman and Nancy Lokken between 1998 and 2000. She received her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003. She began playing viola in 2003 during her time student teaching and has since enjoyed teaching viola students in addition to her violin students.
